I’m going to talk to Susan, my personal technology guru, to see if we can add two new features to the Collector. Some people have discovered that they can browse through the listing there and cut and paste the links to go see the stories before the list get generated. I’ll see if we can convert that field to an actual link without breaking the report generator. I also would like to add a checkbox for new participants, so we can easily find debut participants. I think it would pay dividends if we make sure new authors in #firdayflash get encouragement from the rest of us.
I can now generate the list in alphabetical and reverse alphabetical order. Fair warning – next week’s list will be in reverse alphabetical order, so plan accordingly.
Finally, I’d like to ask again how cutting back on retweets is effecting everyone. It still seems to be working nicely for me. Are you all still getting good response, or has the cutback on tweeting hurt your readership?
Enough with the business meeting. I move we adjourn to actually reading the stories.
